Urban Civil was the site Civil Engineer for the construction of the first phase of the CTTC a 25,000-sqf educational facility completed in 2003 for the City of New Braunfels.  The effort included site civil work, design and construction observations from the initial planning stages to project completion for the construction.  Urban Civil was also the Civil Engineer for the design and development of the second phase of the campus which included an additional 30,000-sq ft of offices, labs, and classroom space along with site civil work.  Urban Civil performed field surveying, entrance street and drainage design which included topography for CTTC site and proposed street and drainage areas, hydrology and hydraulic calculations, construction drawings, design coordination with the TxDOT Aviation Department, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), ADA Design, bid documents and specifications, Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Costs, Pre-bid Conference, bid opening and tabulation and award recommendation to City of New Braunfels. Urban Civil’s point of contact with the City on the second phase of this project was Jennifer Cain (830-221-4646).
